Dr. Scappaticci received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island in 1996. He then received his masters degree in 1999 and PhD in biological sciences from URI in 2003. He completed his medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in 2008. He completed his residency in diagnostic radiology in 2013 and then completed a fellowship in vascular interventional radiology in 2014 at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Scappaticci’s primary focus is in interventional radiology and he is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He currently serves as the Secretary of Rhode Island Medical Imaging. He also serves as the Chair of Radiology and Director of Interventional Radiology of CharterCARE Hospitals of Rhode Island.
