What is HeartFlow Analysis?
Rhode Island Medical Imaging is Rhode Island’s first outpatient center to offer HeartFlow Analysis. HeartFlow Analysis is a noninvasive diagnostic tool for heart disease. This test diagnoses coronary artery disease by taking patient data from a coronary CTA and creating a digital 3D model of coronary arteries. It’s state of the art computer algorithm is able to simulate blood flow and asses the impact of blockages to the heart.
Within a few hours, HeartFlow sends the information to your Provider where they can see the extent of a patient’s arterial blockage. This helps determine if the patient needs more invasive treatment.
