Dr. Herliczek graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed both his internship in Pediatrics and residency training in Radiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical School where he served as Chief Resident in Radiology. He then completed fellowship training in pediatric radiology at Children’s Hospital in Boston where he served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Herliczek is an Associate Professor of Diagnostic Imaging, Clinician Educator at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and serves as the Director of the Medical Student Elective in Pediatric Radiology. His chief interests are pediatric radiology and teaching physicians of the future. Dr. Herliczek has received several teaching awards at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University including Teacher of the Year in the Dept. of Diagnostic Imaging, Dean’s Excellence in Teaching Award twice and Positive Champion of the Learning Environment twice. Additionally, Dr. Herliczek has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” in RI Monthly magazine multiple times.
