Dr. Cronan graduated from Albany Medical College of Union University and then went on to complete a diagnostic radiology residency at Yale New Haven Medical Center and a two-year abdominal imaging fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. With over 100 publications, Dr. Cronan is a nationally recognized expert in the field of uroradiology, ultrasound and non-vascular interventional procedures, particularly image-guided percutaneous needle biopsies. Dr. Cronan serves on many national committees and many editorial boards. He is the Radiologist-in-Chief at Rhode Island Hospital and Miriam Hospital, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and a Fellow of the American College of Radiology.
