Dr. Jayaraman is internationally recognized as a pioneering Neurointerventional Radiologist, and is the Chair of the Department of Radiology at Brown University. Under his direction, the Neurointerventional service at Brown has gained international acclaim for providing cutting-edge care for patients with cerebrovascular disease. Dr. Jayaraman and his colleagues have published groundbreaking research showing how their novel approaches to stroke treatment reduce time to treatment and dramatically improve patient outcomes.
In addition to serving as Chair, Dr. Jayaraman is a Professor of Radiology, Neurology, and Neurosurgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School. He is also President of the Society of Neurointerventional Surgery, a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, and Fellow of the American College of Radiology.
